What you will do
Count supplies and update warehouse records. Order parts when we run low. Receive and store materials so that all remote sites have enough supplies. Enter and track supply transactions in Coast Guard and partner databases. Use IBM Cognos tools to check data and fix inventory errors. Keep paperwork complete to meet policy, hazardous material rules, and audit requirements. Inspect parts for damage or defects. Report problems and help solve quality issues with suppliers. Work with other Coast Guard units to share spare parts, prioritize urgent orders, and clear backorders.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen. You must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. You need a valid state driver’s license. You must pass a background check. You should have good math and computer skills. You should be able to read and write clearly. No specific degree is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is needed. You need to be reliable and trustworthy.

You will get a salary between $61,722 and $80,243. The job is full‑time and on‑site. You will work in the Coast Guard team in Jacksonville. You will have a one‑year probationary period. You will receive benefits and a chance to grow in a federal career.
