What the job is
This job is for a Teller at a Defense Commissary Agency store in Fort Rucker, Alabama.

What you will do
Count money, set up cash drawers, check drawers for accuracy. Turn on the computer system for the day. Give change to cashiers. Use the cash register if needed. Check cash drawers regularly to keep amounts low. Bag and seal cash and checks, make a list for pickup and deposit. Compare cashier records with total cash and sales. Keep records up to DoD rules.

What you need
You must have a Level 1 DoD Financial Management certification. If you do not have it, you must get it within 2 years. You need to keep training up to date. Basic math skills and honesty are required.

What you will get
Pay is between $17.82 and $22.68 per hour. Work is irregular: days, evenings, weekends, holidays. The job is full‑time but not more than 64 hours biweekly. You will get a stable job in a federal agency.
