What the job is
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room at the Veterans Health Administration in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a part-time job with flexible hours. You will help care for veterans during surgery and make sure they stay safe.

What you will do
- Take care of patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Make sure patients are safe from injuries caused by medical tools or chemicals.
- Count surgical items to prevent anything from being left inside the patient.
- Double-check the correct surgery site and follow all safety rules.
- Give medications safely and handle patient samples properly.
- Keep detailed records of all care given during surgery.
- Follow equipment and infection control procedures.
- Help prevent infections at the surgery site.

What you need
- U.S. citizenship (or meet VA Policy exceptions).
- A full and unrestricted nursing license from any U.S. state or territory.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse (preferred).
- Must pass a drug test, background check, and physical exam.
- Must follow VA vaccination rules (like the seasonal flu shot).
