What the job is
This is a leadership role for a senior medical professional in Taylor, Texas. You will manage a team of health workers at an immigration facility. This role is only for current USPHS officers.

What you will do
You will lead and schedule Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. You will train new staff and check the quality of their work. You will also see patients, give check-ups, and prescribe medicine. You will handle emergencies and help with complex medical cases. You will keep medical records and talk to patients who may not speak English well.

What you need
You must be a current USPHS officer. You need a license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. You must have at least 6 years of clinical experience. You need to be good at leading a team and staying organized. You must keep your medical skills and CPR certification up to date.
