This job is in Fresno, California. The Veterans Health Administration wants a Marriage and Family Therapist to work in a Substance Use Disorder Program.
What you will do
You will do mental health assessments and make treatment plans. You will give therapy to individuals, families, couples, and groups. You will help veterans with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other serious problems. You will also help with crisis situations in the outpatient setting. You will work with other programs to move veterans to the right services.
What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen and able to speak and read English. You need a Bachelor degree and some experience in therapy. You must pass a background check and a physical exam. You must have a valid ID. You must be willing to work Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
