This is a law enforcement job with Customs and Border Protection in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will work on boats to protect the country from illegal activities and terrorism. What the job is
You will work as a Marine Interdiction Agent. You will protect the borders of the United States on the water. You will look for and stop people trying to bring illegal items into the country.
What you will do
You will watch people and boats that look suspicious. You will use radar to track boats. You will search people, bags, and cargo for weapons or illegal goods. You will collect information to help stop crime.
What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen. You need a Merchant Mariner Credential. You must be able to pass a background check and a drug test. You must speak and write in English. You must be willing to travel and work in different locations.
