What the job is
The Veterans Health Administration is looking for a kidney doctor, also called a Nephrologist. This job is at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. You will help care for Veterans who live in Southwest Virginia.

What you will do
You will look after patients in the hospital and at the clinic. You will treat people with kidney disease and help them with dialysis. You will teach medical students and new doctors. You will work from Monday to Friday. You will also be on call for some nights and weekends.

What you need
You must be a U.S. Citizen. You need a medical license from any U.S. state. You should be board certified or ready to get certified in kidney care. You must pass a drug test and a background check. You must get a flu shot every year. You need to speak and write English well.
