What the job is
The Salem VA Medical Center is looking for a Kidney Doctor to join our team in Salem, Virginia. You will help care for Veterans who have kidney problems. This job is full-time and takes place at our hospital and clinic in Southwest Virginia.
What you will do
You will meet with patients to check their kidney health. You will treat people staying in the hospital and those visiting for checkups. You will perform dialysis for patients who need it. You will work some nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also teach medical students and new doctors. You will work with a team of nurses and other health staff.
What you need
You must be a doctor who is trained in kidney care. You need to have a license to practice medicine in the US. You must be a US citizen. You must be able to speak and write well in English. You must pass a drug test, a physical exam, and a background check. You must also get a flu shot every year.
What you will get
