This job is for an IT Specialist in Washington, District of Columbia. You will work for the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology. You will help people with computers and other tech.

What you will do
- Answer phone calls and help people in person.
- Fix software and hardware problems.
- Move and set up IT equipment.
- Keep records of problems and suggest improvements.
- Set up and maintain computers, laptops, tablets, phones and video gear.
- Clean up old user accounts.
- Teach junior IT staff.
- Keep help desk records accurate.
- Organize cable closets.

What you need
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- Good communication skills.
