What the job is
We are hiring a Geriatric Doctor to join our team at the Veterans Health Administration in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will work in our Geriatrics program, helping older Veterans receive high-quality care in their communities.

What you will do
- Provide medical care to older patients in clinics, hospitals, and home-based settings.
- Work with a team to improve care for geriatric patients.
- Teach and guide medical students, residents, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in research and quality improvement projects.
- Be available for urgent patient assessments during work hours.
- Join hospital committees and training programs.

What you need
- U.S. citizenship (or meet VA policy exceptions for non-citizens).
- Full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Pass a drug test, background check, and physical exam.
- Must follow VA vaccination policies (including flu vaccine).
- Males born after 1959 must be registered with Selective Service.
