What you will do Prepare tools and equipment for dental work. Use X‑ray machines to take pictures of teeth. Check patients before treatment and ask about their health. Watch patients during treatment for any problems. Help the dentist with simple and complex tasks. Hand the dentist the tools he needs.

What you need High school diploma or equivalent. Experience as a dental assistant is a plus. Good communication skills.
