What the job is
This job is a Cook position at the Veterans Health Administration in Columbia, Missouri. You will help make food for veterans.

What you will do
You will cook simple meals. You will follow menus and recipes. You will grill, broil, bake and heat items. You will prepare vegetables, salads and desserts. You will use ovens, grills, slicers and other kitchen tools. You will keep the kitchen clean and safe.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen or have permission to work. You need to pass a background check. You must be able to work the hours 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. You should know how to use kitchen equipment safely.

What you will get
You will work 20 hours a week. Pay is between $21.72 and $25.32 per hour. You will have a 1-year probation period. You will get a chance to work in a caring environment.
