What the job is
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Muskogee, Oklahoma, is hiring experienced lawyers to work as federal prosecutors. You will handle important criminal cases in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

What you will do
You will investigate and prosecute federal crimes such as organized crime, terrorism, drug trafficking, child exploitation, human trafficking, fraud, and public corruption. You will also work on violent crimes in Indian Country, including homicide, assault, and drug offenses. Your tasks include legal research, directing investigations, building cases, and presenting them in court. You will work with federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement. Over time, your cases will become more complex.
What you need
You must be an experienced attorney, preferably with federal prosecution experience. Strong communication, research, and organizational skills are required. You must live in or near the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must be registered with the Selective Service.
