What the job is
This is a seasonal office job for the National Park Service in Anchorage, Alaska. You will help keep park offices running smoothly during the busy season. You might work at different park locations depending on the weather.
What you will do
You will answer phones and talk to visitors. You will handle mail and keep files organized. You will order supplies and help make travel plans for staff. You will also help with office money records and staff paperwork.
What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen and pass a background check. You must be at least 18 years old or 16 with a high school certificate. You should be able to sit for long times and do light lifting. You may need to work on weekends or holidays.
What you will get
You will earn between 22.07 and 35.54 per hour. You will receive a money allowance for your uniform. Some locations provide housing for staff. You may also get extra money for moving or for starting the job.
