What the job is
This job is in the MWR Bowling Center at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California. The cook prepares and cooks food for the base.

What you will do
You will cook simple foods like pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and vegetables. You will make hot cereals, broil meat, cook soups, sauces and gravies, and make sandwich fillings. You may bake pizza. You will peel, chop, grind, slice, dice, puree, and bread foods. You will measure portions and follow recipes. You will set up and refill a salad bar. You will label, date, and store leftovers. You will clean equipment and work areas. You will keep accurate food inventories and rotate stock to avoid spoilage. You will do other related tasks as needed.

What you need
You need a basic cooking skill and experience. You should be able to follow recipes and keep a clean work area. No specific education is required.

What you will get
You will earn between $19.58 and $21.20 per hour. The job is up to 40 hours per week. It is on site in Lemoore, California.
