What you will do
Write and edit specs for hardware, firmware and software. Keep the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual up to date. Check reports and changes that affect the manuals. Put data into the IETM software. Make sure the documents meet quality rules. Help contractor writers meet the contract. Watch new ways to improve writing and management.

What you need
Good writing and editing skills. Know how to write for technical topics. Experience with technical publications and manuals. Ability to follow quality standards. Good computer skills. Knowledge of the Army or defense field is a plus.
