What the job is
This job is a Technical Writer-Editor for the U.S. Army Tank – Automotive & Armaments Command in Warren, Michigan. The work supports the Light Armored Vehicles program. The role is full time and on site.

What you will do
You will write and edit technical documents for the Light Armored Vehicles. You will manage the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual. You will enter data into the IETM using software. You will check quality and follow procedures. You will help contractor writers meet standards. You will look for new ways to improve writing tools.

What you need
You should have good writing and editing skills. You need to know about hardware, firmware, and software. You should be able to use the IETM software and Epic Editor. You need experience with technical publishing and quality assurance. You should have a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
