What the job is
You will work as a shipwright on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Garden Island, Australia.

What you will do
You will build and fix support structures for ships in dry docks. You will set up marks above water to line up ships when they enter the docks. You will set up and change staging for ship work. You will pick the right materials and swap them if needed. You will do simple math and use tools like levels, rulers, squares, and awls. You will use machine tools, power tools, and hand tools used by shipwrights.

What you need
You should know basic math. You should have experience with tools and shipbuilding. You should be able to read plans and follow instructions. You should have a good work ethic.

What you will get
You will earn a salary between 30.07 and 35.07 per hour. You will work full time on site. You will have a safe working environment.
