What the job is
You will work as a Shipwright for the U.S. Pacific Fleet in Garden Island, Australia. You will build and fix structures that support ships in dry docks.

What you will do
You will build and repair structures to hold ships in place. You will help line up ships over blocks when they enter dry docks. You will build and change platforms for workers. You will choose the best materials for each task. You will use math and tools to measure and mark parts. You will use power tools and hand tools.

What you need
You need to know how to use machine tools and hand tools. You must be able to do basic math and geometry. You should be able to select and use different materials. You need to be able to build and fix ship support structures.

What you will get
You will earn an hourly wage between 30.07 and 35.07. You will work at a naval facility in Garden Island. You will be part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet team.
