What the job is
This job is for a Surface Maintenance Mechanic Inspector in Gatesville, Texas. You must be an active member of the Texas Army National Guard.
What you will do
Inspect heavy trucks, tanks, cranes, fire trucks and other big machines. Use test tools like gauges, sensors and computers. Decide if a machine can be fixed or if it should be replaced. Check engines, brakes, steering, hydraulics and electronics. Help other inspectors when needed.
What you need
You must belong to the Texas Army National Guard and wear a uniform. You need to know how to use test equipment and read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems. A valid driver license is needed if you drive. You must be able to get a security clearance if required.
What you will get
A full‑time job with a salary from $32.03 to $37.36 per hour. Work Tuesday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will work on site in Gatesville. No remote work.
