What the job is
You will work as a Practical Nurse in the Surgery Department at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. You will help patients before and after surgery and in outpatient clinics.

You will give nursing care to patients of all ages. You will give medicines by mouth, on the skin, under the skin, or by injection. You will help doctors during surgeries. You will prepare tools and equipment. You will check that emergency equipment works and that instruments are clean.
