What the job is
This job is a surgical nurse at the Department of Surgery in Tacoma, Washington. You will work for the Military Treatment Facilities under DHA.
What you will do
You will give nursing care to patients of all ages before and after surgery. You will give medicines by mouth, on the skin, or by injection. You will help doctors during surgeries. You will set up and manage the supplies and equipment needed for the operation. You will check that emergency equipment works and that all instruments are clean and sterile.
What you need
You must be a registered practical nurse. You need experience in surgical or operating room nursing. You should know how to handle patients who are very ill or under anesthesia.

You will work full time on site. You may receive a recruitment or relocation incentive. Salary is between $66,453 and $86,388. You will have benefits as a federal employee.
