What the job is

You will work as an ambulatory nurse at the Family Medicine Department in Fort Detrick, Maryland. The clinic is part of the Military Treatment Facilities. You will help patients who walk in for care.

What you will do

Check patients when they arrive. Decide how serious their condition is. Tell doctors what you see. Follow doctors orders. Tell the clinic when a test is abnormal. Help patients after a procedure. Teach patients and staff.

What you need

You must have a nursing degree. You need to be able to talk to patients clearly. You should know how to read test results.

You will have a salary between $103,603 and $134,691. You will work full time. You will get benefits as part of the military health system.
