What the job is
The U.S. Army Medical Command is looking for a Finance Specialist to work in Bethesda, Maryland. You will help soldiers who are recovering from injuries or illnesses. You will work in the Soldier Recovery Unit and report to the Human Resources leader.
What you will do
You will help soldiers with their money and financial benefits. You will talk to soldiers and their families to answer questions about pay. You will work with other managers to make sure financial data is correct. You will also create checklists for soldiers to help them understand what money they can receive as they move through the recovery program.
What you need
You need to be good at managing financial records and talking to people. You should be able to explain complicated money rules in a way that is easy to understand. You must be able to work on-site in Maryland.
What you will get
You will earn a salary between 70623 and 91815 per year. You will get to help soldiers and their families during a difficult time. This is a full-time position in the competitive service.
