What the job is
This job is for a Nurse Practitioner who works at the MoveTime Clinic in Palo Alto, California. The clinic is part of the Veterans Health Administration. You will help veterans with obesity and other health problems.

What you will do
- Manage a group of patients with obesity and related health conditions.
- Use evidence based care to help patients stay healthy.
- Create and follow care plans for each patient.
- Order and read lab tests and other exams.
- Prescribe medicines and other treatments.
- Refer patients to specialists when needed.
- Teach patients and families about health.
- Work with doctors, nurses and other staff.

What you need
- A full and unrestricted nursing license from any U.S. state or territory.
- Ability to speak and read English well.
- U.S. citizenship (or a special visa if no citizens are available).
- Pass a background check and a drug test.
- Pass a physical exam and get the flu shot.
