What the job is:
This job is an Operating Room Nurse at Military Treatment Facilities in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. You help patients in the operating room and recovery. You work with surgeons and anesthesiologists.

What you will do:
You will monitor patients after surgery. You will check heart and breathing. You will give medicines by mouth, injection, or IV. You will start IV lines and watch fluids. You will change sterile dressings. You will record vital signs and lab samples. You will enter data into the electronic record. You will teach patients and families about recovery.

What you need:
You must be a registered nurse or practical nurse. You must have experience in an operating room. You must know basic life support. You must be able to work in a team. You must be able to observe and record details.
