What the job is
This job is for a cook at Air Education and Training Command in Luke AFB, Arizona. You will work with food and help keep the kitchen clean.
What you will do
You will cook simple foods like pancakes, eggs, sausages, hamburgers, and vegetables. You will make soups, sauces, and pizza. You will cut, peel, chop, and slice food. You will measure ingredients and put them in the correct order. You will set up a salad bar and serve food to people. You will clean kitchen tools and equipment. You will follow instructions and keep the kitchen safe.
What you need
You must be able to follow written and spoken instructions. You should know how to use food equipment and how to keep it clean. You need basic math skills to measure ingredients. You should know how to season food. You must be able to work safely in a kitchen.
