What the job is
This job is to supervise janitorial staff at Admiral Kidd Catering & Conference Center in Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego. The job is in the MWR Department. You will make sure the center is clean and tidy.

What you will do
- Supervise 3 or more janitorial workers.
- Plan and direct their work.
- Inspect the building every day.
- Note any problems like dirty showers or broken furniture.
- Train staff on how to clean safely.
- Follow safety and fire rules.
- Schedule staff shifts.
- Order cleaning supplies and keep equipment in good shape.
- Keep the storeroom safe.
- Report accidents or problems.
- Evaluate staff performance.
- Handle time‑off requests.
- Interview and recommend new hires.
- Resolve staff complaints.

What you need
- Experience supervising cleaning staff.
- Knowledge of safety and fire rules.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work a 35‑40 hour week.
