What the job is
This job is a full-time position at the School Age Center at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. You will work with children and young people.

What you will do
You will supervise a team of up to twelve people who care for children. You will check how well the classroom and activities are running and make plans to fix any problems. You may act as the manager when the director is not there. You will watch staff during all hours and give feedback. You will help solve complaints and give advice to staff. You will promote safety, fitness, health and good nutrition.

What you need
You should have some experience working with children and supervising a team. You should be able to give clear feedback and solve problems.

What you will get
You will get a salary between $69,789 and $80,000. You will work 40 hours a week. You will have benefits and leave. Childcare fees are discounted: the first child gets 100% discount, other children get 25% discount if you work at least 15 hours a week. The job is on site in Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
