What the job is:
You work for the Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland. The role is a Logistics Management Specialist. You help plan and run big logistics projects.

What you will do:
Plan and carry out major logistics studies. Look at changes in mission, design, schedule or work. Make tradeoffs and long-term options. Suggest changes to plans and agreements. Work with many groups such as PMA, PSM, FRC/ALC, Naval Supply Systems Command, Defense Logistics Agency, and engineering teams. Solve industrial, maintenance, supply and readiness problems. Represent the command on product teams, logistics groups and assessment teams. Identify and solve big problems that cannot be solved locally. Prepare clear problem statements, root-cause analysis and recovery options for leaders.

What you need:
Experience in logistics and program management. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to work with many stakeholders. Knowledge of supply chain and industrial logistics. Strong communication skills.
