What the job is
This is a job for a recent graduate to work as an accountant for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will join a special one-year program that helps you start a career with the government.

What you will do
You will record and check financial data to make sure it is correct. You will find errors in accounts and help fix them. You will prepare financial reports for different groups. You will follow government rules and help with office projects.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. You must have lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years. You must pass a background check and a drug test. You must have graduated recently from a college or university. Men born after 1959 must be registered for the Selective Service.

What you will get
You will earn between 50930 and 80991 per year to start. You can earn more as you get promoted. You will get training to help you grow. After one year you may be given a permanent job.
