What the job is
This job is for an Engineering Technician at the Hale Koa Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will help keep the hotel working and safe.
What you will do
You will plan and run small construction and repair jobs. You will write work plans and budgets. You will talk with contractors and make sure they do the work right. You will check that HVAC, plumbing and other systems are kept in good shape. You will keep records and help fix problems quickly. You will use AutoCAD to draw sketches. You will help manage contracts for mechanical and plumbing work.
What you need
You need a bachelor degree in engineering or a related field. You need at least 3 years of experience in construction or maintenance. You should know how to read drawings and use AutoCAD. You should be able to write clear reports and talk with people. You need to be able to work on site in Honolulu.
What you will get
You will get a salary between $80,000 and $100,000. You will get a cost of living allowance of 8.64%. You will work full time on site. You will have benefits and a chance to grow in the Army.
