What the job is
This is a part‑time job at the Castle Rock Veterans Clinic in Castle Rock, Colorado. You will work in a primary care lab that takes blood and other samples from patients.

What you will do
You will pull blood from patients using a needle. You will label the tubes and put them in the computer system. You will check that the right sample is sent to the lab. You will help nurses and doctors if they have questions about the tests. You will train other staff on how to collect samples. You will handle drug‑screening samples for employees. You may talk to new veterans about lab services.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen. You must speak and read English well. You need to pass a drug test. You must be able to use a computer. You must be a good listener and careful with patient information.

What you will get
You will work 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. You will earn between $45,420 and $65,819 a year. You get 37‑50 days of paid time off, a 12‑week paid parental leave after 12 months, and a childcare subsidy if you qualify. You will have a federal pension after 5 years and a 401(k) plan with up to 5% VA contribution. You will get health, vision, dental, and life insurance.
