What the job is
The job is to drive a school bus at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The bus can hold 44 to 72 students. The driver must keep the bus clean and safe.
What you will do
Drive the bus safely to and from school. Help students with special needs get on and off the bus. Clean the bus inside every day and wash the outside once a month. Check the bus for safety before each trip. Fill out trip tickets. Tell the school principal if any student misbehaves. Report any problems to the government rep.
What you need
You must be able to drive a bus that weighs up to 30,000 pounds. You need a valid driver’s licence. You should be friendly and patient with students. You should be able to do basic cleaning and maintenance.
What you will get
You will work part‑time. You will get a pay rate between $26.96 and $31.41 per hour. You will work on site at Camp Lejeune. The job is seasonal and part‑time.
