What the job is
This is a staff psychologist position at the Veterans Health Administration in Salisbury, North Carolina. You will help veterans recover from mental health problems.
What you will do
Diagnose mental disorders. Perform psychological tests. Treat patients with therapy. Work with doctors and other staff. Supervise interns and residents. Keep records. Help plan programs and research. Attend meetings and committees.
What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen. You need a PhD in psychology or a related field. You must be able to speak and write English well. You will need to pass a background check and a drug test. You must be ready to work a full day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
