What the job is
This job is at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. You will work with the Chief Medical Officer’s Quality team to keep patient care safe.

What you will do
Help the team follow laws and rules about patient safety.
Prepare for inspections and surveys.
Share safety alerts from the Joint Commission.
Collect data for performance reports.
Help the team process over 2000 patient safety events each year.
Track deadlines for serious safety reports and submit them to the Defense Health Agency and the Joint Commission.

What you need
Experience in health care quality or patient safety.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense health rules.
