What the job is
This is a full-time role for a Psychologist at the Veterans Health Administration in Salisbury, North Carolina. You will help Veterans who have mental health conditions. Your work will focus on helping them recover and live better lives.
What you will do
You will figure out what mental health issues patients have and provide treatment. You will lead therapy sessions and work with patients one-on-one. You will also help train medical students and interns. You will work with other doctors to make sure patients get the right care. You will need to keep good records of your work and attend meetings to help improve hospital services.
What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen and pass a drug test. You need to be good at speaking and writing in English. You must have a doctoral degree in psychology and a valid license. You must pass a background check and provide a valid ID. You will also need to get a flu shot every year.
