What the job is
Tarawa Terrace Elementary School is looking for a Special Education Aide in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. You will work in a classroom to help students learn and grow. This is a full-time role where you support both students and teachers every day.
What you will do
You will watch over students during the school day to keep them safe. You will help students with personal needs like eating and using the bathroom. You will help the teacher with lessons in the classroom. You will do office work like taking attendance and filing papers. You will follow learning plans made by specialists. You will also talk to parents during meetings and get learning materials ready for class.
What you need
You should be patient and enjoy working with children. You must be able to help students with their personal care and school work. You need to be good at following instructions and keeping records.
What you will get
You will earn between 21.68 and 35.26 per hour. You will work 70 hours every two weeks. You will get to make a real difference in the lives of students.
