What the job is
Customs and Border Protection is looking for an Archeologist Program Manager in Aliso Viejo, California. You will help the agency protect historic sites and follow environmental rules. You will work with many different groups to make sure building projects do not hurt important cultural areas.

What you will do
Give advice on how to manage historic and old sites.
Find ways to protect archeological sites without stopping work operations.
Talk and work with state officials, tribal groups, and other government agencies.
Create rules and agreements to protect historic places.
Write new policies to help the agency follow laws about cultural history.
Travel up to one week every month.

What you need
You must be a citizen of the United States.
You must pass a background check and a drug test.
You need to have lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years.
You should have experience managing archeological programs or sites.
You must be willing to follow strict ethics rules.
