What the job is
You will work at the Camp Smith Fitness Center in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The U.S. Marine Corps needs a Sports and Recreation Specialist to run the fitness center and help Marines and their families stay healthy.
What you will do
Run the fitness center every day.
Keep the rooms and equipment safe and clean.
Help customers use machines and give them advice.
Plan workout classes for people.
Watch over staff and make sure they do their jobs.
Take care of money and write reports.
Be ready to answer emergencies after hours.
What you need
High school diploma or equivalent.
Some experience with fitness or recreation.
Good people skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment.
