What the job is
The job is to keep buildings and equipment in the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System working. You will be in Prescott, Arizona. You will help fix, paint, and build parts of the facility.

What you will do
You will cut and put together walls with wood or metal. You will put drywall on walls and ceilings. You will fix floors and put in new doors. You will change plumbing parts like pipes, sinks, toilets, and water heaters. You will build or repair furniture and office items. You will use tools like saws, hammers, and drills. You will follow simple plans or instructions. You will work Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and sometimes more if needed.

What you need
You must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for long time. You can lift up to 40 pounds alone and sometimes more with help. You must wear safety gear and follow safety rules. You need U.S. citizenship or be able to get it. You must be able to read simple instructions and use hand tools. You must register for Selective Service if you are a male born after 1959.

What you will get
You will earn between $29.88 and $34.87 an hour. You will have a 1‑year probation period. After that you may keep working if your performance is good. You will work on a team in a health care facility. You will get a job ID 889375800
