Ambulatory Surgery Nurse works in a hospital in Colorado Springs. You help patients before and after surgery.

What you will do
Check patients before surgery. Get their consent. Do a quick health check. Start IV fluids. Help with nerve blocks. Make sure lab tests are done. Mark the surgical site. Give medicines. Teach patients how to recover. Watch for side effects. Keep records in the computer.

What you need
A nursing license in the US. Experience as a registered nurse. Good communication skills. Ability to work with a team.
