What the job is
You will work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in New York. You help manage the district's vehicles, transport, and facilities. The district will move from 26 Federal Plaza to Jersey City in March 2027.

What you will do
- Manage the district fleet and motor pool.
- Track vehicle use, maintenance, costs and availability.
- Follow federal, state and local rules about vehicle use.
- Work with transportation, logistics, project managers, and field staff.
- Help with travel and transportation services, including leases and air travel.
- Coordinate facilities services like cleaning, maintenance, utilities, security and minor repairs.
- Fix routine facilities problems on your own.

What you need
- Experience with vehicle fleet or transportation management.
- Good knowledge of transportation rules and regulations.
- Ability to read and analyze data.
- Good communication skills.
