What the job is
This job is a Correctional Treatment Specialist. You work in a federal prison. You help keep the prison safe and help inmates get ready to live in the community again.

What you will do
You will give therapy and talk to inmates. You will help them solve mental problems. You will work with the Chief Psychologist to plan mental health programs. You will train prison staff to spot and help people with emotional or behavioral problems. You will also keep the prison secure. Security work is the most important part of the job.

What you need
You must be a qualified mental health professional. You need a mental health degree (Bachelor, Master or PhD) and a license to practice. You must be a U.S. citizen. You should have experience working in a correctional setting. You need to be able to work in a team and follow security rules.

What you will get
You will get a salary between $74,678 and $121,371. You will work full time on site. The job offers benefits and training. The position is open until September 30, 2027.
