What the job is
This job is for a Nurse Practitioner who works with Veterans in Parma, Ohio. The work is part of the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System. The main focus is on Compensation and Pension services.

What you will do
You will give primary care to a group of Veterans. You will take medical histories, do physical exams, order tests, diagnose problems, and plan treatments. You will also do Compensation & Pension exams, Environmental Health exams, and Military Environmental Exposure exams. You will work with the VA to schedule exams and complete reports quickly. You will help with projects to improve the clinic.

What you need
You must have a nursing degree and a valid state license. You need to know medicine well and be able to care for Veterans with compassion. You need good people skills and leadership skills. You must be a U.S. citizen or meet VA rules. You must be able to speak and write English. You need to pass a background check and a physical exam. You must also get a flu shot.
