What the job is
This job is for an Aircraft Mechanic at Eielson AFB in Alaska. You will work with aircraft to keep them safe and ready.
What you will do
Inspect aircraft before and after flight. Check engines, hydraulics, brakes, and other systems. Fix problems and replace parts. Keep records of work. Work with other maintenance teams. Attend readiness drills and safety checks.
What you need
Basic knowledge of aircraft systems. Ability to use tools and read manuals. Good communication. Teamwork. Physical fitness. Must be able to work in a cold environment. No specific degree required.
