What the job is
You are the second in command of the IHSC Special Operations Unit. You help plan and run medical missions for ICE custody cases.
What you will do
Oversee operations and training. Ensure quality of care. Manage staff. Support domestic and international missions. Stay ready 24/7. Travel up to 50% of the time. Compile monthly reports. Mentor staff. Analyze protocols. Represent the unit to other agencies. Complete required training. Keep nursing credentials. Conduct risk assessments. Enforce policies.
What you need
You must be a current USPHS officer. USPHS CAD candidates are not eligible. You must be a registered nurse or advanced practice provider in flight. You need leadership and program management experience. You must be ready to travel and work flexible hours.
