What the job is
The Veterans Health Administration is looking for a kidney doctor called a Nephrologist to work in Salem, Virginia. You will care for Veterans who live in Southwest Virginia. This job is based at the Salem VA Medical Center.

What you will do
You will help patients in the hospital and in the clinic. You will treat people with kidney diseases. You will perform dialysis for patients. You will also teach medical students and other doctors. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm. You will also be on call for some nights and weekends.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen. You need a medical license from a U.S. state or territory. You must be board certified or ready to become certified. You must speak and write English clearly. You must pass a drug test and a health exam. You also need a flu shot and a background check.

What you will get
