What the job is
This job is a Transportation Assistant at the Veterans Health Administration in Syracuse, New York. You will help veterans get to their appointments.

What you will do
You will schedule rides for veterans. You will keep track of data and make reports. You will use the VISTA system to record information. You will help reduce wait times for patients. You will work with the supervisor to plan transportation schedules. You will manage driver schedules and vehicle maintenance.

What you need
You must be a U.S. citizen. You must live near Syracuse or be willing to move there. You need a valid driver’s license that is REAL‑ID compliant. You must pass a background check. You must be able to work in a fast paced office and on the road.

What you will get
You will work full time, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will earn between $45,409 and $59,031 per year. You will get a one‑year probation period. You will get benefits and a chance to help veterans.
