What the job is
This job is for a Senior Mental Health Counselor who works in a primary care clinic in White City, Oregon. You will help veterans with mental health problems and work with doctors.

What you will do
- Check patients for emotional and behavioral problems.
- Do quick, proven counseling sessions that fit in a primary care setting.
- Make treatment plans and write reports.
- Teach patients and families about mental health.
- Help doctors decide on treatment and keep patients in the same care team.
- Supervise students and trainees.
- Do administrative tasks like scheduling and answering phone calls.
- Work with other health programs to coordinate care.

What you need
- U.S. citizenship and a valid driver's license.
- Must speak and read English well.
- Must be a licensed professional counselor.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be willing to do a 1- or 2-year trial period.

What you will get
- Salary between $89,508 and $116,362 per year.
- Opportunity to participate in the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200,000).
- Full-time work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
- Benefits and training for the PCMHI model.
- No remote work; you will be on site at the clinic.
